Job Description:

Major Responsibilities /Job Description:

The right targeted children and PLW are admitted at TSFP Program 

Joint TSFP distribution planning and community mobilization at facilities and community level 

TSFP implemented as per protocol with the right and on time commodities/TSFP supplies

TSFP Commodity planning and dispatching to FDPs and HPs as per the distribution plan

On time & consistence reporting on TSFP will be improved

Proper Documentation, recording and reporting of TSFP distribution documents

Quality & coverage of screening is improved 

Community mobilization and active case finding, detection and screening activities

Work Location: Miessio (Somalia Region) and Doba (West Hararge Zone)

Number positions required: 4 (Four)

Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification:

BSc degree in Public Health/ Clinical Nursing/Nutrition and related health field of study preferred from accredited universities or health colleges

Certificates on:

Acute malnutrition 2019 revised guideline trainingRevised 2019 IMAM guideline, and IYCF-E trainingIntegrated Pharmaceuticals Logistics System (IPLS)Trained on Family MUAC approach and TSFP/MAM

Required Professional Experience:

Minimum two years working experience with NGOs in CMAM program Focusing on TSFP and BSFP programs;

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications  

Knowledge, training and experience in management of MAM and SAM with/without medical complicationDemonstrated skills in CMAM program planning, implementation and monitoring.Experience in cascading family MUAC approach Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.Good human relation skills.Willingness to work under pressure and extra hoursWillingness and capacity to be flexible and accommodating when faced with difficult and frustrating working conditions;Strong adherence to World Vision values;Strong character traits, including emotional stability, adaptability, ability to handle stress, cultural and gender sensitivity and integrity;Prepared to live and work in an remote and uncertain security environmentFluent in oral and written Amharic, English and Local language
