How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare:

Provides warehouse support services for the TSG department, including inventory management, shipping and receiving duties. Maintains inventories, supports TSG Warehouse Specialist in determining par levels.

Works in a warehouse environment and may make frequent trips to hospitals and other locations. Work involves a substantial amount of lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling with and without assistive devices. Ability to lift boxes up to 70 lbs required. Ability to safely operate a fork lift in a warehouse environment required. Uses company vehicles for deliveries. Position is in frequent contact with client departments and TSG personnel at varying levels.  
 

Acts as a receiving agent for all incoming equipment to the TSG Department. Unloads equipment from delivery vehicles and moves equipment to warehouse storage. Prepares and stages finished product for loading and delivery. Packages ordered equipment for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).  Issues or distributes materials, products, parts, and supplies to coworkers in a timely fashion, based on information from incoming requisitions. Responsible for quality control. No visibly damaged product is sent out. No damaged equipment is accepted in.  Evaluates returned equipment for disposal or used stock.  Destroys Hard drives as needed, maintaining accurate record of status. Completes and maintains documentation including warehouse inventory transactions and work logs. Verifies inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigating discrepancies.  Maintains an inventory of forms and supplies used by the TSG warehouse. Completes requisitions for forms and supplies and maintain the storage area in an orderly fashion. Unloads, stores and documents receiving of all forms, supplies and equipment for TSG Department. Cleans and maintains work area. Moves waste from packaging to dumpsters. Secures warehouse and stores equipment when not in use.  Assists with full physical counts of stock twice a year with spot checks as needed. Provides assistance or direction to other warehouse and TSG employees. Other duties as assigned.  What We Require:

Education: High school graduate required. Associate degree in computer applications preferred.

Experience: 2 years working in an information technology environment preferred.

Licensure, certification, and/or registration: Valid Virginia drivers license.

Other minimum qualifications: Good driving record and good interpersonal skills and communication skills. Must be customer focused and utilize good problem solving skills.
