Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

 

One of the following:

Associate Degree in Cancer Registry ManagementCompletion of 60 hours of College-Level Courses, including six college credit hours in Human Anatomy and Human Physiology

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

 

Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) by the National Cancer Registration Association (NCRA) within 24 months of placement in position

Responsibilities

Collects, assesses, interprets, classifies, and records various data from medical records of cancer patients to meet requirements for certification of the cancer program.
