We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Turnaround Scheduler (Remote) to join our Oil & Gas client's team, on a 6-month contract in Victoria, TX. In this role, you will:
  Develop detailed work packages for fixed equipment, including scope, labor estimates, materials, and timeline requirements. Create and maintain turnaround schedules using Microsoft Project, ensuring alignment with overall project milestones. Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, procurement, and operations teams to coordinate planning efforts and optimize execution strategies. Prepare job plans, work orders, and execution strategies for fixed equipment maintenance and repairs. Identify potential scheduling conflicts and adjust plans accordingly to ensure smooth execution. Ensure all turnaround activities comply with safety, environmental, and operational standards. Execution & Coordination Support pre-turnaround planning, shutdown, and startup sequences by sequencing tasks efficiently in Microsoft Project. Work closely with on-site execution teams to monitor work progress and adjust schedules as needed. Provide remote support to field teams, assisting with scope clarifications, schedule updates, and issue resolution. Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely material and resource availability. Generate progress reports and KPIs, tracking project milestones, delays, and completions. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in turnaround mechanical planning and scheduling for fixed equipment. Proficiency in Microsoft Project for turnaround scheduling and execution. Strong understanding of maintenance Experience with job planning, estimating, and work package development. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and work scopes. Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors. Knowledge of LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), permitting, and safety procedures. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting turnarounds remotely. Background in chemical, refinery, or manufacturing industries.
