About you and this role
We are looking for a Turnaround Senior Scheduling Specialist located in Terneuzen, The Netherlands.

As a Turnaround Senior Scheduling Specialist, you will develop, communicate, and maintain workable turnaround schedules using Primavera P6 by interacting with our customers, partners, vendors, and contractors. You will work with our project leadership including the turnaround management team, craft supervision, planning, engineering, safety, quality, procurement, and plant operations personnel to provide detailed project-level planning that ensures time and cost-efficient turnaround execution.
Responsibilities
Pre-Turnaround
• Input Work Plans into schedule as developed by the planner
• Work with Turnaround Planners to establish: Resources, All Activity Codes; (i.e. Systems, Work Type, Equipment Type, etc.), Calendars, P6 back-up procedure and carry out, Logic Ties, Reporting, Histograms, Reports, Management Process and Layouts
• Run and Re-Run Schedules to Fix Duration, Smooth Out/Level Resource Profile, Manipulate Working Patterns, Manipulate Work Sequence
• Using Data Generated, Produce an Initial Proposal for the following: Work Plan, Budget, Duration, Resource Profile and Working Patterns
• Progress and maintain Turnaround Planning Milestone Schedules
• Set Baseline/Target Schedule(s) after all work has been inputted and following the turnaround freeze date
During Turnaround
• Progress and maintain Turnaround Execution Schedules
• Closely monitor critical path and keep Turnaround Management aware of status
• Check validity of progress that is turned in, by conducting field walks of the work
• Print and distribute daily working schedules and three-shift lookaheads
• After updating, level, then view histogram over allocations, and inform Turnaround Coordinator and Turnaround Superintendent of status.
Post Turnaround
• Follow all post turnaround file close-out procedures and track progress of post turnaround activities
• Attend and participate in post turnaround evaluation meetings
• Finalize Turnaround Schedules
• Include Target vs. Actual information in closures
• Actualize activities for final file back-ups
Qualifications
• Minimum of a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or technical related
• At least 4 years of industry experience
• Excellent English language skills
• Ability to collaboratively lead project planning and scheduling meetings with any variation of project team participants
• Experience with working in an operating facility
Preferred Skills
• Dutch language skills
• Minimum of 3 years of scheduling experience
• Able to perform a critical path analysis and report on the path(s)
• Understanding of productivity, earned value and reporting progress
• Experience with Oracle Primavera P6
• At least 1+ years of turnaround experience.
