In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of the Manufacturing activities in compliance of the Manufacturing routing, HSE and Quality.
 

As a Shop/Plant Turning Operator, you will be responsible for:

Executing machining activities related to Baker Hughes products, particularly regarding horizontal turning activitiesChecking the final quality of the activities as indicated by the Manufacturing routing by filling the inspection planHousekeeping of the workstation and vouchering worked hours applicable to the Manufacturing activity assignedParticipating to the continuous improvement trough the project proposalsFollowing the shopfloor policy related to the working shift, lunch break and Personal Protective Equipment use.

Be a good team player and a proactive self-starter that is accountable and exhibits ownershipDemonstrate experience as machining turning operatorBe able in technical drawing interpretationShow ability in technical document and procedure interpretationHave experience with manual and numerical controlled machineBe able to report safety, quality and routing issue to the supervisorBe fluent in Italian (written and spoken)Hold a EU work permitBe able to be flexible with working patterns and shift rotations, including nights

Desired Characteristics

Hold a High School degree in technical matters+ 5 years of experience in turning activitiesShow knowledge of NDE processesDisplay knowledge in machining tool kit and of Baker Hughes productsBe proactive in helping teams and supervisor
