Description of the role: As a Tutor for AP History at Tutor Doctor - North County San Diego, you will provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring sessions to high school students. This role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of AP History curriculum and the ability to effectively communicate and mentor students. Responsibilities: - Conduct individual tutoring sessions and create personalized study plans based on students' needs. - Assist students in understanding complex historical concepts and theories. - Help students improve critical thinking and analytical skills required for AP History exams. - Monitor and assess students' progress, providing feedback and guidance for improvement. - Collaborate with students' teachers and parents to ensure alignment with classroom instruction and goals. Requirements: -  Strong knowledge of AP History curriculum and exam requirements. - Prior experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring students. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
