Our team is responsible for Apple’s video business, driving overall revenue as well as subscriber growth for Apple TV+, curating and managing the app experience, programming and editorialising while striving to acquire engage and retain subscribers for Apple TV+ and our partners. DescriptionDescriptionApple is looking for a TV+ Distribution Partnerships Lead to drive viewership amongst our 3rd Party distribution partners. We are looking for an industry expert with a proven track record in defining partner plans and setting weekly, quarterly and annual subscriber, engagement and retention targets for partners. You will need to be adept at building deep collaborative relationships cross-functionally in the organization, as you will collaboratively create action plans to hit those goals. You need to have experience in leading growth for a major SVOD service, driving subscriber growth, managing churn, developing and prioritizing initiatives, all with a focus on the living room experience. This opportunity is a 12-month fixed-term contract. Key responsibilities include: - Setting subscriber KPIs, including growth and viewership targets, for International TV+ living room business and partners on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis. - Creation and management of specific partner plans for International MVPDs with varied stakeholders: (BD, partner marketing, product, programming). - Driving cross-functional delivery on partner plans. - Analyse and articulate performance of partnerships, including sign-ups, viewership, and churn. - Lead monthly business meetings with International video leads to review metrics and cross-correct in real time. - Gather living room industry competitor and customer insights including market trends, competitive dynamics and customer insights that help inform business priorities and product roadmap. - Work closely with partner marketing and BD at deal stage on strategic video partnerships to optimise customer experience and outline customer journey including all touch points for smooth sign up/sign in flow on MVPD platform. - Optimise placement and presence of TV+ on 3PP platforms with a focus on MVPDs (STBs)Minimum QualificationsMinimum QualificationsSignificant experience within the media entertainment industry, of which the majority has been with SVOD service and driving growth with distribution partners.A strong understanding of the subscription funnel and how to optimise for engagement and retention.A commercial, data-driven and analytical mindset to develop, size and prioritise business cases of new initiatives for business growth.A deep industry knowledge of media entertainment key distribution players (OTT, MVPD, Connected home, etc.) and industry trends.An appreciation and passion for storytelling in TV and movies. A passion and understanding of consumer consumption habits.The right mix of collaboration, influence, flexibility and relationship-building skills to be effective in a large International, cross-functional organisationA product-savvy individual who can partner with Apple product teams to scope adoption of partner features based on both data and a customer centric approach.
