In Thermo Fisher Scientific Brno, we develop and produce high-tech electron microscopes and spectrometers. What are we passionate aboutThe Toolchain team is engaged in the development of tools designed to support developers and testers in their daily activities, with a particular emphasis on integration and test automation. Our dedication lies in creating efficient improvements through a reliable and rapid feedback loop, ensuring our software aligns with forthcoming cybersecurity regulations.
What will you be working onDesign and implement extensions to the existing web application (Angular FE, Node.js BE) for visualization of component integration and smoke test results. These will help developers, testers, and integrators in their daily work.Collaborate with SW engineers, SW testers, and Product Owners from the Czech Republic and the NetherlandsWhat technologies are we usingFor development, we use C#, Python, ELK Stack, Docker, Kubernetes, and moreSource code is stored in our on-premises GitLab, builds are performed in Jenkins and our backlog is in JiraWho are we looking forUndergraduate, ideally student of Information Technology or Computer ScienceKnowledge and experience of TypeScript (and one of the frontend frameworks, ideally Angular)Result orientation, showing initiative and self-organizing, good time and priority management skills.Solid communication in English (international team)Extra skills and knowledge we appropriateKnowledge of Mongo DB, Web servers (Apache/Nginx), Docker, Python, Angular, Node.js, DjangoExperience with backend development (ideally Node.js) is a bonusKnowledge of software engineering practices (Agile, Scrum)How do we empower you?
