U.S. Federal Affairs Intern (WWGA&P)
As a Johnson & Johnson intern you will contribute to high-impact meaningful projects that will not only further advance our company’s mission but will allow you to gain real world experience at one of the most innovative organizations in the world. You will also have opportunities to participate in special events including professional development and leadership presentations, and social/network building activities and local community volunteer programs. Summer Internship Dates: June 9, 2025 - August 1, 2025. This is an 8-week program/ full time 40 hours/week. You must be available to work during this entire period. Key Responsibilities: + Monitor legislative environment, with an emphasis on health care policy, and conduct research in support of government affairs goals and activities. + Attend and compile summaries of congressional hearings, stakeholder engagements and/or events as requested. + Assist with projects, including conducting research and drafting presentations. + Assist with the preparation of leadership visits to Washington, D.C., including compiling briefing books and background materials. + Participate in the execution of federal government affairs strategy and activities. + Showcase your achievements and deliverables with a final presentation near the conclusion of your internship Notes: The anticipated base pay for this position varies by current education level. Interns may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as medical insurance, sick time, and holiday pay in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans. **Qualifications** Required Qualifications: + Must have a minimum GPA of 3.25. + Authorized to work in the US and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., FI, H1-B status). + Must be enrolled in an accredited University or College program. + Must be available to work full-time (40 hrs./week) for the entire duration of an 8-week internship between June and August. + Must be able to relocate if necessary and work at the designated site for the duration of the internship Preferred Qualifications: + Enrolled in a degree program with an interest in healthcare, politics, government, advocacy or law. + Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and communicate efficiently and effectively. + Efficient, organized, and able to handle short timelines in a fast-paced environment.
