Purpose
This role contributes to the creation and implementation of learning plans and solutions for all business lines within the U.S. region, ensuring alignment to business strategy and global learning standards and practices. This role works closely with business program owners, HR Business Partners, subject matter experts, Learning COE, and Learning Solutions to implement innovative learning experiences and solutions that meet the development needs of the business.
What You’ll Do
Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. In partnership with the Senior Manager, Learning, participates in strategic learning plan development through ongoing meetings with business line leaders. Contributes to the identification of the right learning strategy and solutions to meet business objectives. Proactively utilizes a wide range of HR data to identify themes/trends and recommend effective learning solutions to meet the business needs. Contributes to or leads the creation and execution of specific learning programs to address specific business needs. Implements recommendations on program execution and design from Senior Manager, Learning, business leaders, HR Business Partners and COEs. Collaborates with Global HR Operations to ensure successful deployment of learning programs. Provides support for escalated cases from Global HR Operations. Builds internal and external networks to learn training industry trends and best practices. Shares knowledge to improve/enhance strategies, programs and processes. Understands how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Actively pursues effective and efficient operations within their respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct Champions a high performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment. This role reports into Global Learning with a dotted matrix reporting relationship into U.S. HR Operations.
What You’ll Bring
Post-secondary Degree in Human Resources or Business or related field Degree, certificate or designation in adult learning is an asset Relevant experience in developing and executing learning solutions in a large complex corporate environment Strong communications skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Ability to deal effectively with different levels of the organization (Director and below). Results oriented and able to effectively execute in a fast-paced environment Retail experience is an asset Ability to action learning projects for results Strong prioritization and time management skills Experience in instructional design is an asset Business acumen and understanding to allow appropriate partnership with client groups
Work Arrangement
Hybrid work environment. Work both in a standard office-based environment 2-3 days a week. Working from our New York office is strongly preferred. Non-standard hours are a common occurrence. Limited travel may be required.
