Program Summary
KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Turkey. Our services ensure smooth operations, allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation support, among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.
Job Summary
Perform minor maintenance on Government Vehicles (GOVs), and complete vehicle work order request forms according to Air Force instructions (AFI). Perform mobile maintenance on Government vehicles and maintain call log. Maintain vehicle outgoing and Quality Assurance (QA) logs and provide supervision with metrics data and spreadsheets when required. Coordinate all maintenance actions with Customer Service, and Fleet Management & Analysis sections regarding maintenance on vehicles. Operating light and heavy-duty vehicles such as buses, truck and semi-trailer combinations, forklifts, and wrecker/recovery vehicles for shop use/maintenance purposes. Support personal security details. Performs motor vehicle preventative maintenance checks and services. Plans organizes and directs vehicle transportation to support operational missions.
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide vehicle maintenance for missions that require secret clearance.Support other vehicle management missions that require secret clearance.Ensure all tasks assigned are carried out in a satisfactory manner In Accordance With (IAW) PWS, Technical Order, and Air Force standards.Respond to customers’ calls to coordinate and ensure mobile maintenance calls are completed.Work on vehicles that are in-shop during heavy workload periods.Ensure and enforce shop floor safety and environmental practices are followed.Perform other associated duties as assigned including such collateral duties as supporting company special projects and other sections as required by leadership.Basic Qualifications
US Citizen.Shall meet the qualifications of AFSC 2T351, Vehicle Management Journeyman as defined in AFMAN 36-2100, Airman Classification.Possesses, or has the ability to obtain, a United States driver’s license IAW Host Nation laws, applicable AFI’s, or SOFA requirements.High school diploma or equivalentFive (5) years vehicle maintenance experience.Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain.Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Automotive Science.Eight (8) years vehicle maintenance experienceAbility to acquire and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC), and gain access to the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS)KBR Benefits
