Program Summary

Job Summary

KBR is seeking an experienced maintenance mechanic who will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to the maintenance of the medical treatment facility located on Incirlik Air Base. Primary responsibilities include: Recurring maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on chilled water systems, hot water heaters, boilers, HVAC package and split systems, air compressors, and other miscellaneous refrigeration equipment, plumbing systems, electrical systems, carpentry, painting and grounds maintenance.

Roles and Responsibilities

Perform tests and troubleshooting using various analog and digital test equipment, ohmmeters, ammeters, voltmeters, watt meters, transistor testers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, frequency meters, protective relays, and cable test equipment. Read and interpret electrical and electronic schematic wiring diagrams, manufactures’ literature, and standard operating procedures. Prepare, update, and maintain a variety of data forms, records, and reports. Comply with local and US electrical safety codes, standards, regulations, practices, and environmental laws. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor to include assisting other craftsman in accomplishing their duties as directed.Installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems and equipment.Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults in systems.Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems.Performs HVAC related duties (40%).Performs Facility Maintenance duties to include electrical maintenance, inspection, cleaning, painting, repair of equipment, and other labor duties as assigned. (60%)Physical requirements include lifting up to 23 kilos, climbing ladders, extended sitting or standing, and working in normal and adverse weather conditionsRequires work to be perform shift work and work on holidays and weekendsUse test equipment to trouble shoot basic AC/DC Theory, 1-phase/3-phase power, system protection, and electronic/electrical equipment.

Basic Qualifications

Turkish Citizen.Technical High School graduate/completed, department of HVAC/Refrigeration. Must have electrical certification and be capable of working on electrical systems.Must possess a valid driver license (minimum “B” class)

Preferred Qualifications

Two year HVAC College degree (Iklimlendirme, Sogutma Yuksekokulu), Boiler Operator License (SANAYI KAZANI ISLETME BELGESI).Manlift and forklift operator’s license.3-5 years of experience in the field.

All positions require the applicant to obtain and pass a medical physical that is certified by a doctor.

All positions require a current and favorable Turkish Security background check.

All male candidates must have completed their military service.
