Overview of the role:
The Group AI Office Senior Change Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation and uptake of AI initiatives across the Group, through a robust change and communication strategy.
The primary responsibility will be working with stakeholders across Al-Futtaim’s various business divisions and corporate functions to devise and implement change management plans and communications centred around AI initiatives, tools and resources to maximize their adoption both for individual employee level in their day-to-day work as well as driving utilization by the divisions and functions in their AI own initiatives.
The Senior Manager will work very closely with the Group Chief AI officer, the Executive Director of Technology & AI Strategy and the broader Group AI Office team to ensure that change initiatives are strategically aligned and executed to plan to reach adoption & utilization goals, whilst ensuring buy-in and approval from the relevant stakeholders, so that the change objectives and value of AI can be fully realized for the Group.
The key elements of the role include:
Plan and coordinate change management strategies and framework around adoption and utilization of AI across Al-Futtaim Execute and own the overall delivery quality of Group AI change management initiatives, coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure change objectives are realized Craft impactful & engaging change communications across formats and channels to drive engagement and adoption of AI across the Al-Futtaim Group Collaborate and secure buy-in through stakeholder management across the Al-Futtaim Group Assess change readiness and mitigate risks to change by pinpointing pockets of resistance and anticipating areas of concernWhat you will do:
Change Management Strategy & Planning
Translate Group AI vision and strategy into change priorities and overall change management framework for AI for the Group Formulate holistic change agenda and objectives for both the Group and Division/Corporate Function levels Develop and implement change management strategies and plans to support the adoption of AI tools and resources both for individual employees as well as project teams/departments Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify/engage key stakeholders/employee Groups as requiredChange Management Execution
Own execution and coordinate Group AI Office change initiatives including the development, syndication and approval from relevant change sponsors of actionable change deliverables, such as change communications plans, stakeholder engagement roadmaps, coaching & training plans, support channel & resource plans, and risk & resistance management plans Develop and deliver a structured change communications approach for Group AI Office change priorities across internal channels (e.g., AFG Intranet, Viva Engage and Teams, company email) In collaboration with Group communications team, craft compelling, creative, and engaging communications plans to Al-Futtaim employees, connecting the impact of AI to the overall strategic objectives of the Group, as well as to their daily work, skillsets & careers Build relationships and secure buy-in across relevant stakeholders across the Group for the Group AI change agenda and specific change initiatives, including commitments for advocacy, organization structure & roles, and resources Work proactively with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities to accelerate momentum of AI adoption and utilization across the Group and its employeesChange Reporting
Provide regular and efficient change-related reporting and insights into the performance of change communications and adoption of AI tools, resources and usage metrics across the Group Prepare updates and reports on AI change initiatives and AI adoption across the Group to Group AI leadership team and other senior leadership meetings, as well as provide support for AI Governance Committee meetings & reports Track, raise and act to mitigate risks related to the people & change impact of AI, e.g., concern from employees, points of concern & feedback from AI project teamsRequired Skills to be successful:
UAE National with 10+ years of change management experience, preferably in a technology-driven environment. Strong stakeholder management & communication skills to drive AI adoption and engagement across the organization. Certified in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) with proven expertise in large-scale transformation initiatives. Experience with Agile methodologies and the ability to assess change readiness, mitigate risks, and drive adoption.

What equips you for the role:
A business or technical degree from a reputable institute. A minimum of 10 years of experience in change management, preferably in a technology-driven environment. Proven experience in managing change in large, complex transformation initiatives. Change management certification or designation (e.g., Prosci, CCMP). Experience of driving meaningful change within large, complex organizations Knowledge of Agile methodologies
