The Senior Inventory Analyst will be responsible for supporting the inventory management functions for the uBreakIFix network, with a primary focus on balancing inventory availability with inventory risk across the network.
The Senior Inventory Analyst will utilize inventory usage and cost data to develop the optimal stocking strategies for our uBreakIFix stores. Stocking strategies will take into account the age of a device, the part type, the cost, and the usage pattern to develop strategies that align with capabilities within the inventory management system. Ideal candidates will have experience managing inventory with a desire for developing and implementing strategies that improve current inventory performance.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze large data sets with inventory usage and on hand information across thousands of part SKUs to determine optimal stocking strategiesSystematically implement and maintain stocking strategies for different part types – determine optimal cadence for updating system configurationsAnalyze part lifecycles to customize stocking strategies by demand profiles, age of device, part type, customer behavior and supplier requirementsDevelop ways to track excess and shortages within the store network, actioning as neededCollaborate with warehouse and supply chain teams to identify inefficiencies in inventory processes and recommend corrective actions.Lead or participate in projects to implement best practices in inventory management and system improvements.Drive initiatives to streamline processes, reduce excess inventory, and improve overall warehouse productivity.Develop and run modeling to compare aggressive and conservative stocking strategies that highlight the impacts on repair volume and inventory cost for each modelAssist with the development of monthly and annual inventory targetsAssist with the development of warehouse inventory replenishment strategies by providing insights into store usage patternsPersonal Competencies
