UCLA GENDER STUDIES DEPARTMENT OPEN POSITIONS: PART-TIME LECTURERS (NON-SENATE) 2024-25

The Department of Gender Studies at UCLA receives applications on an ongoing basis for part-time lecturer positions for teaching a course in Gender Studies. Appointments are made in general on a quarterly basis. Quarter academic appointment dates are as follows (and may differ from actual instruction dates):

Fall: October 1-December 31st
Winter: January 1-March 31st
Spring: April 1-June 30th

Salary is commensurate with applicant qualifications and experience; percentage of appointment commensurate with teaching load. See Table 15 Unit 18 Faculty Pre-Six - AY (ucop.edu) for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimate for this position: $68,247 - $83,936.

Requirements: Applicants with a Ph.D. are preferred. Applicants who are advanced to Ph.D. candidacy or who have a M.A., M.F.A., or equivalent may be considered (currently enrolled UC students are not considered).
