The User Experience Design group is responsible for creating digital experiences for the Motorola smartphone product line. From building the camera app interface to ensuring the Moto Razr’s UI is flawless, our team is an essential part of what makes Motorola phones great. This role is for our Bangalore office. You’ll be joining a global design organization, with offices in Chicago, Brazil, and China. **Front-End Implementation Specialist Responsibilities** Quality Assurance of UI Implementations: Review and assess the front-end implementation to ensure it aligns perfectly with the design specifications. Feedback and Communication: Provide clear, actionable feedback to developers on any discrepancies or inaccuracies in the UI implementation. Pixel-Perfect Validation: Ensure that UI designs are translated accurately into functional interfaces, maintaining design integrity across various devices and browsers. Design System Maintenance: Help develop and evolve the Moto visual design language and design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across all products. Collaboration with Development Teams: Act as a liaison between the design and development teams to facilitate smooth and accurate implementation of UI components. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed design specifications, guidelines, and documentation to support the development process. Testing and Verification: Conduct thorough testing of UI components to identify and report issues, ensuring a seamless and polished user experience. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies, design tools, and industry trends to continuously enhance the UI implementation process. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with UX designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality, user-centered design solutions. **Basic Qualifications:** 4-year degree in a design-related field Minimum of 4 years of experience in UI design or a similar role focused on design implementation Robust portfolio that demonstrates design capability and attention to detail in UI implementations Experience designing digital interfaces Demonstrated understanding of user-centered design and design processes Familiarity with design systems, production needs, and UI development workflows Preferred Qualifications: Ability to ensure highly-polished digital interfaces with meticulous attention to detail Familiarity with visual design and visual communication best practices Experience working within a design system and applying visual design language consistently Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and communicate UI issues effectively Exceptional communication skills (writing, listening, presenting) to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams Experience working directly with development teams to ensure accurate UI implementation Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first development principles Experience with version control systems like Git is a plus Motion graphics experience is a plus **What We Offer:** Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment Professional growth and development opportunities Collaborative and supportive team culture Motorola Mobility is an equal opportunity employer.
