**Job Description**
**Responsibilities:**
+ Engage with Analysts to understand platform requirements and ensure clarity on deliverables.
+ Develop software artifacts using Agile methodology and take ownership by providing production support.
+ Develop software features according to requirements specifications and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
+ Interface with various R&D, Product Management, User Experience, and DevOps teams to deliver robust solutions.
+ Coach peers and junior engineers, champion best practices, and promote software craftsmanship.
+ Develop innovative ideas to address complex challenges or future functionalities.
+ Conduct regular code reviews and testing to ensure the intended design and quality levels are achieved.
+ Lead the end-to-end implementation and support of software solutions, ensuring quality and responsiveness throughout the lifecycle.
+ Plan and perform unit testing to ensure fit-to-design/requirements and automate wherever possible.
+ Develop tools and libraries to enable rapid and scalable future development.
+ Participate in the larger development community through conferences, open-source contributions, and technical writing.
+ Maintain consistent design patterns, methodologies, and documentation across all development projects.
+ Collaborate with Business Analysts, Testing, and Support teams to ensure technical requirements for new projects are met and urgent customer issues are resolved efficiently.
+ Write and maintain high-quality code with 100% test case coverage and ensure all code passes quality gates.
**Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
+ 5+ years as a UI Developer/Programmer.
+ Proficiency with Angular CLI, Angular Elements, Bootstrap, and Component Dev Kit (CDK).
+ Strong experience with version control systems, specifically GIT.
+ Familiarity with continuous integration processes and tools like GitLab.
+ Ability to deliver high-quality software features adhering to SDLC best practices.
+ Expertise in unit testing, ensuring robust and efficient code coverage.
+ Experience in automation for development and testing processes.
Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications.
1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.
2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.
3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.
4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.
5. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.
