What you’ll do
As a UI Developer for the Sustainability Control Tower, you will work with cutting-edge web technologies to build responsive and user-friendly interfaces for our next-generation SaaS applications. You will be responsible for developing highly interactive and visually appealing user interfaces that drive engagement and deliver seamless user experiences.
In this role, you will:
· Develop Interactive User Interfaces: Build intuitive and dynamic user interfaces using JavaScript, Node.js, and frontend technologies like UI5 (or other modern frameworks) to ensure a smooth and engaging user experience.
· Drive UX Design: Collaborate closely with UX designers to translate wireframes and user stories into high-quality, responsive interfaces that provide a great user experience.
· Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with backend developers, product managers, and designers to create a cohesive and seamless user experience across the application.
· Ensure Consistency: Maintain and enforce design standards to ensure a consistent and high-quality UI/UX across all platforms.
· Optimize Performance: Work to improve front-end performance, focusing on faster load times and smoother interactions.
· Innovate and Improve: Continuously improve the UI and UX by staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in frontend development and user experience design.The work will be hands-on including development tasks and setting up systems/tenants to explore integration options.
What you bring
Required skills
3+ years experience in JavaScript and Node.js for frontend development. Solid experience with frontend technologies like UI5 (preferred) or other modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue). Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles. Experience building responsive, cross-browser compatible user interfaces. Ability to work with UX/UI designers to implement designs and ensure a seamless user experience. Familiarity with REST APIs and integrating frontend components with backend services. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Understanding of UI/UX best practices and how to optimize interfaces for usability, accessibility, and performance. Experience in version control systems such as Git. Proficient in English, both written and spokenOptional skills
Experience with UX design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD) and wireframing. Understanding of agile development processes. Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and working within a DevOps environment.
