UI/UX Designer
Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a UI/UX Designer in the financial services industry based in New York, New York. This role involves processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, resolving customer inquiries, and monitoring customer accounts. Responsibilities • Create and refine user experiences across various platforms, focusing on data visualization and workflows. • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to align goals and enhance the user experience. • Transform complex financial information into clear, user-friendly interactions, workflows, and visuals. • Design and implement wireframes and prototypes, working closely with developers to bring these designs to life. • Leverage data insights and research to make informed design decisions that enhance user satisfaction. • Contribute to our design system, maintaining consistent design standards. • Use tools such as Figma, Axure, and Adobe Creative Suite to aid in the design process. • Ensure accuracy and quality in all design projects. • Communicate effectively with team members, sharing ideas and presenting design concepts. • Demonstrate a customer-focused approach, creating accessible and customer-centered designs. Requirements • Proven experience in UI/UX Design within the financial services sector • Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and other relevant design software • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders • Strong research skills to inform design decisions • Ability to design and implement intuitive user interfaces • Experience in producing high-quality prototypes • Demonstrated creativity and a strong understanding of design concepts • Track record of collaborating well within a team • Capacity to perform ad hoc financial tasks as required • Proficiency in data visualization and ability to derive insights from data • Ability to ensure quality in all aspects of design work • Strong visual design skills, with an ability to translate requirements into cohesive and attractive visuals • Experience in making data-driven decisions in design • Proficiency in using 'Join Me' or similar collaborative tools.
