Join us. **SENIOR ASSOCIATE CORPORATE AFFAIRS** **LIVE** **What you will do** In this vital role, the Senior Associate Corporate Affairs supports implementation of the communication strategy for Amgen’s UK&I Commercial Affiliate and UK-based global R&D organisation. You will oversee and deliver the UK and Ireland staff engagement program CONNECT and manage overall internal communications across the UK and Ireland. Additionally, the role involves the strategic development and execution of the Corporate Digital platform's strategy, which includes maintaining the corporate website, social media channels, the internal news site, and Viva Engage. This role reports into the UK Corporate Affairs Lead. **Responsibilities include:** + Strategic development and delivery of the staff CONNECT engagement program across UK and Ireland sites, working closely with quadrant leaders and relevant cross functional teams to drive tactical implementation and program delivery. + Development of a digital platform strategy focused on maximising and increasing usage and engagement with all platforms internally and externally. + Overseeing management of external social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn and Instagram), ensuring correct processes are in place and adhered to, to ensure content is compliant with all medical, legal, and regulatory requirements. + Identifying opportunities and managing the development of engaging and relevant business content to support internal and external communication requirements (e.g., web copy, press releases, fact sheets, images, video, interviews, animations, social media editorial calendar, etc.) + Partnering with Talent Acquisition to support the strategic development and implementation of talent attraction and employer brand focused tactics. + Liaison and management of external agencies and vendors as appropriate. + Stay abreast of corporate affairs trends, standard processes, and emerging platforms, and propose new and innovative ways to use the work across Operations in support of Amgen’s brand and reputation. **BE PART OF OUR TEAM** You would be joining the Corporate Affairs team at Amgen in the UK & Ireland, working across both the commercial affiliate and R&D organisations. The team's mission is to represent Amgen internally and externally.
