Job Purpose We are looking for a passionate and experienced access/marketing professional to lead Market Access initiatives for the Innovation portfolio of ViiV Healthcare in the UK. Joining the growing market access team at an exciting time with a number of important Access milestones, this role will be responsible for leading access strategy for new Health Technology Appraisals (HTAs), market access tenders, pricing strategies, and in-field access marketing strategies and materials, in the fast-paced HIV therapy area. This role is a critical to the Market Access team, in setting direction, strategy and collaboration with ViiV UK’s other functions such as marketing and sales. It is responsible for close partnership with the brand leads, field-based Key Account Managers and Market Access Partnership Manager to deliver a competitive and robust plan to improve patient access to ViiV’s innovative portfolio of medicines. The individual must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to work collaboratively to deliver and optimise content. Please note this role is a 12-months secondment/fixed term contract. In this role you will Line management of a team of two (market access brand manager and market access associate) Lead on health technology appraisals for pipeline products Lead on pricing strategy and tender negotiations across all products in all countries in the UK External stakeholder engagement in relation to pricing and access for pipeline and in-market products Set direction and own the business plan for the market access team to ensure all tactics work towards realising the access strategy stemming from one portfolio narrative Effective support for the in-field market access customer-facing team to ensure all tactics are executed effectively Accountability for stock and supply of all HIV medicines ViiV offers by working with the finance and analytics team members as well as ViiV’s wholesaler Collaborate with individuals across many functions, including Health Outcomes, Marketing, Sales, Policy, Medical and In-Field teams to understand national and local requirements and build / refine plans accordingly. Basic Qualifications & Skills: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: University Degree in Business, Science or similar fields or equivalent experience Experience within NHS and/or pharmaceutical sectors to demonstrate understanding of the UK access environment Good understanding of UK Market Access processes and strategic drivers, ideally with direct experience Excellent project management skills, prioritisation and problem-solving skills with high sense of responsibility and accountability Strong communication and influencing skills, both internal and external, ideally including demonstrated ability to develop and mobilise key stakeholders to influence decisions, and remove barriers Results-orientated with a sense of urgency and customer focus, resilient when overcoming obstacles.
