We expect candidates to lead with a focus on teamwork and innovation, ensuring seamless execution of logistics operations while driving cost efficiencies and fostering strong partnerships across all stakeholders.

✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

\n\nResponsible for managing a team of 8 & supporting their training & development.\nResponsible for the team that deliver the day to day collection plan making sure all shipments are planned & executed inline with JLR demand & requests.\nCollaborative working with Vendors, Transport teams, Customer & internal depatments.\nDay to day contact for freight operational challenges that are either impacted by / or impacting the freight plan. \nSupporting the overall 2% Contractual Cost Down for Freight & Responsible for delivering the new initiatives allocated to LLP Freight Planning.\nSupporting the UK Planning manager on projects as a keystakeholder.\n\n

✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

\n\nTactical planning & operational experience in LLP operations in Supply Chain division and multi modal transport operations (Road, Air & Sea)\nKnowledge of DHL systems specifically OTM / Paragon / Coupa & customer system SAP / CMMS.\nA good degree of computer literacy, with a comprehensive working knowledge of MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word\n\n
