BACKGROUND: International Rescue Committee (IRC) responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises and helps people to survive and rebuild their lives. At work in more than 40 countries and over 20 U.S. cities, the IRC provides resettlement, education and empowerment support to refugees and displaced people.
SCOPE OF WORK (INTERN): Data entry, screening potential clients, communication with clients, filling out applications, maintaining digital files, maintaining spreadsheet, other tasks and projects as assigned.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities will include communication with clients, detailed maintenance of spreadsheet and digital client file. Screening potential clients, and preparing and submitting applications for those with pathways withing our scope of services. This will include TPS, work permits, family petitions, adjustment of status, humanitarian parole, and Lautenberg applications.
