ULD Planner

Job Description
A large client of Insight Global is seeking a Global ULD Planner who will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and communicating global asset plans through input and lead plans and controls. This role also provides technical training to field personnel and supports the implementation of business and financial systems to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Develop and communicate global linehaul and asset plans on schedule.
Analyze data to support asset balancing, load planning, and corporate goals.
Review asset proposals for alignment with forecasts and operational needs.
Coordinate with teams and vendors to ensure timely data/resource availability.
Ensure compliance with IATA/ATA/FAA standards through regulatory engagement.
Monitor and optimize ULD usage and system reliability.
Forecast capacity needs and assist with capital budget planning.
Assist in managing the ULD repair budget and monthly expense reporting.
Set and track ULD cost requirements and rates for field locations.
Support new process implementation in financial/operational systems.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree
5 years of experience in scheduling, planning, or package movement, including exposure to foreign flight operations.
Experience with asset management, logistics, or transportation systems preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and management information systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Understanding of FTL and logistics operations. null
