NDT LEVEL II OPERATOR PRIMARY FUNCTION
Set up and operate non-destructive testing equipment used to evaluate product quality. The NDT Level II operator is responsible for making all the necessary preparations, calculations, and observations to prepare reports. NDT II Operator is also responsible for entering data results in the computerized plant systems.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT
Ultra sonic test equipment, profilometer, micrometer, calculator, measuring tapes, operate crane, transfer car, system computer terminal.

WORKING PROCEDURE
Set up, calibrate, and operate non-destructive test equipment used to evaluate mill product quality per written instructions.Set up and maintain computer & data acquisition equipment as necessary.Mark locations of defective areas with anodizing equipment, metal stamps or stickers. Layout and pinpoint defective areas for laboratory evaluation.Record all required test observations settings and enter results on appropriate reports and / or log sheets. Enter all appropriate data into the SAP system.Perform routine maintenance and repairs, such as cleaning, painting, lubricating, replacing circuit boards and modules, cutting and replacing gaskets, water treating and filtration to testing, and related equipment. Request maintenance personnel assistance for major or non-routine maintenance or repairs.Perform routine calibrations of test equipment, test standards, and micrometers as required.Occasionally answer questions from and give testing demonstrations for visitors and customer auditors as instructed in accordance with company policy.Move material as required, pick up supplies from storeroom, and perform other related tasks.Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly.QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated background, training, and experience in Sonic non-destructive testing (NDT) methodsMust have evidence of certification in NDT Level II qualifications, as well as applicable required training hour records. Certification and Records will need to be provided during interview process.Other:
Must be able to provide proof of US citizenship, nationality, and/or permanent resident status in order to comply with all applicable export and import laws and regulations.
