SUMMARY
We currently have a position for an experienced ultrasonographer to work per diem in our Kenmore Maternal and Fetal Medicine Department. Under general supervision, performs Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) diagnostic and special procedure ultrasonography, in accordance with established policies and procedure.
EDUCATION
High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED, HiSET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit required. Completion of an accredited diagnostic medical sonographer program and an active certification by the ARDMS in OB/GYN. Must maintain 30 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) documentation every 3 years for certification. CPR certification required by the state. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on special
Skills and Experience:
Minimum of three years of experience as a MFM and OB sonographer required. Experience with ultrasound reporting software and electronic medical records (EMR).
Thorough knowledge and understanding of Maternal Fetal Medicine ultrasound practices and procedures required. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrates the ability to work independently, take initiative and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
