When the sun sets, Huntsville’s nightlife has the charm of a big city without any of the hassle. **Requirements:** + Graduated from an accredited program or college/university (required) + ARRT Vascular Sonography Certification (required) + ARDMS Certification (preferred) + BLS (Basic Life Support) (required) + Minimum 1 year experience (required) **Responsibilities:** + Performs ultrasound examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician + Performs a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in applying ultrasound techniques for radiologic diagnosis + Responsible for the safety and comfort of all patients undergoing ultrasound procedures + Performs all procedures according to departmental protocol + Provides guidance, direction, and mentoring to the Ultrasound students and effectively communicates departmentally and interdepartmentally + Follow relevant safety and sanitation guidelines + Performs vascular procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in applying ultrasound techniques for imaging diagnosis + Responsible for the safety and comfort of all patients undergoing ultrasound procedures. + Ensures that all procedures have been appropriately ordered with satisfactory patient identification obtained prior to conducting procedure ***The technologist is required to assist with coverage of fellow staff members with vacation, illness, holiday coverage, etc. *** **What We Offer:** + Student Loan Repayment Plans + Health Insurance Eligibility 1 st of the Month + 6% 401k Employer Matching + Tuition Reimbursement + Company provided renewal of BLS Crestwood Medical Center is a Tier 1 Facility from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama.
