**Key responsibilities of this role include:** + Assists in planning, organizing, staffing, scheduling, and evaluation in all areas of Ultrasound. + Leads in areas of responsibility within the rules and regulations of State and Federal agencies. + Shares responsibility for the development, interpretation, application and implementation of departmental policies, budget and strategic plans. + Achieves departmental/ organizational objectives and improvement opportunities by providing quality diagnostic services. + Oversees and adheres to Federal, State and JCAHO regulations. + Maintain equipment servicing, staff licensing, and competencies. + Assists the radiologists with reports as needed. + Maintains staff scheduling for services offered per department procedures. + Typically reports to a Manager or Director of Radiology. **Key qualifications for this role include:** + ARDMS RVT required + 2 years’ experience in the Ultrasound field required. + Prefer previous supervisory experience.
