Ultrasound POC & Hand Held Segment Leader, ANZ
**Job Description Summary** This position is responsible for attaining commercial growth objectives for Point of Care and Hand-Held (PoC/HH) Ultrasound related products in Australia and New Zealand. Working closely with Sales and Service teams, product marketing / product managers and Global Ultrasound teams, this position develops and implements sales and marketing strategies for POC/HH ultrasound. This role provides product support to account managers and distributors as well as direction to the Omnichannel and digital marketing teams to grow orders and sales via eCommerce. Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world. **Job Description** **Responsibilities** **Customer, Market & Product Expertise** + Develop the commercial strategy for PoC and HH products across ANZ via market research, clinical and industry trend analysis, market share and competitor analysis, win/loss tracking and price realization. + Continuously develop deep clinical and technical knowledge including awareness of current and future trends in healthcare technology and healthcare funding mechanisms. + Understand customers’ changing clinical and/or operational needs and challenges. + Understand and analyse market dynamics and competition to develop business opportunities for the sales teams, and provide ongoing feedback to management, region, and marketing teams. + Educate, coach and direct the differentiation (positioning, value proposition and key messages) of Ultrasound products in ANZ with the sales teams. + Position the value of the products within the relevant care areas and disease areas. + Know, interact and execute the strategy with Key Opinion Leaders in product relevant care areas. + Develop and Maintain professional relations with key customers, academia, government and administrative bodies. + Ensure the product value proposition is differentiated in the minds of these key customer groups. + Manage existing installed base of PoC/HH products, ensuring that all customers are engaged and satisfied with product performance and support of the CSO (customer-satisfaction-opportunity) service process. + Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote product and company. **Financial Performance** + Accountable to achieve the quarterly and yearly Ultrasound P&L Operating Plan targets (Orders, Sales, Margin) for Australia and New Zealand. + Provide input in to the formulation of the yearly business planning cycles for Ultrasound in Australia & New Zealand. **Team Coaching** + Drive performance management within the team, providing a regular operating mechanism of feedback and coaching. + Provide regular updates to the team on company, region product strategies and customer insights. + Coach and assist the sales team with the differentiation of product offerings during the various stages of the sales process to actively move the customer through their decision making process towards a successful outcome for GE HealthCare. **One GE HealthCare Teamwork** + Work with the team and drive employee engagement activities to ensure retention across the zone by recognizing success, sharing best practices, providing exposure to people within the team with senior leadership within the region, products and modalities. + Act as a role model for collaborative mindset across functions. + Educate account team members on product, service and solution strategies and offerings + Facilitate effective communication and trustful collaboration within the zone / product matrix organisation. + Share and follow-up identified leads to other product lines within own and other accounts. **Qualifications/Requirements:** + Bachelor degree level + Minimum 7 years experience in product management or sales/marketing OR equivalent years of experience in progressive product or sales positions within the healthcare industry with in depth knowledge of the healthcare market and decision makers. + Exemplary people management, leadership skills, as well as sales coaching and team building skills. + Ability to energize, develop and build rapport, collaborate and influence at all levels within an organisation. + Ability to operate effectively in a multi-tasking, dynamic environment, while maintaining a forward thinking and customer first attitude. + Proficient in English, written and speaking. + Demonstrated business management and resource allocation skills including business plan development. + Strong knowledge of GE HealthCare and exceptional knowledge of products and services offered within the modality. + Advanced negotiation, problem solving and influencing skills. + Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills;
