Summary

Performs diagnostic ultrasound/vascular examinations for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician.  Performs routine and specific duties on a schedule or as dictated by the work load.  Assists in evaluation, coordinating, implementing and maintaining all new and existing ultrasound scanning policies and procedures.  Reports equipment problems to a director or manager and contacts the service provider for prompt repairs.  Establishes and maintains good working relationships with the clinic staff and physicians.

Position Qualifications

Minimum Education: Associate degree in Radiological Sciences or certificate from an AMA approved school.  Registered by one or more of the following, the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, ARDMS, or a Registered Vascular Technologist. Preferred Experience: 2 years prior experience in diagnostic examinations or other imaging specialties. Certifications Required: CPR certification.
