**Requirements:**
+ Current BLS from AHA or ARC
+ Requires a two year Allied Health Degree and successful completion of an approved one-year program in Ultrasound Technology.
+ Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with the advanced registry in Sonography or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
**About the Job:**
The Ultrasound Technologist directly performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures. Ultrasound Technologist must possess a good working knowledge and professional imaging skills to assure quality management of all patients. The responsibilities include but are not limited to quality control, ultrasound safety and compliance with the Joint Commission standards. The position requires competency in the performance of all routine ultrasound examinations for all patient populations to include: neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adult, and geriatric.
