Get to Know Your Team: UT Health Quitman offers 25 private rooms, a 24-hour Level IV trauma center and Level III stroke center, surgical suites, advanced diagnostics, swing bed care, cardiopulmonary rehab, on-site physician clinics, and a sleep lab. Responsibilities Perform Echo studies/procedures for patients utilizing ionizing radiation and treatment of disease. Functions under the general supervision of the site supervisor and in cooperation with the cardiovascular team. This position is subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital. Qualifications Job Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of patient care experience Minimum of 1 year of experience performing Echocardiography studies Echo Registry eligible per ICAEL standards Echo registered in RDCS or RCS within six (6) months of hire date. CPR Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) Registry in Adult Cardiac Ultrasound ARDMS or CCI or Registry-Eligible Registered Echocardiography Technologist Preferred Requirements: Allied Health degree in Cardiac Ultrasound experience performing Echocardiagraphy studies preferred Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred Registry in Pediatric Cardiac Ultrasound preferred
