Amergis Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated and professional Ultrasound Tech I to join a Women's Health Clinic team in Goldsboro, NC. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasounds, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. This role requires flexibility, as you may be called in during emergencies or public health events. Responsibilities: + Perform diagnostic ultrasound scans and prepare preliminary reports. + Review patient medical records and document required information. + Maintain and sterilize ultrasound equipment. + Educate patients about the ultrasound procedure. + Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care. + Participate in disaster response as directed. Qualifications: + Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Diagnostic Ultrasound, or a related field. + Considerable knowledge of ultrasound procedures, human anatomy, and medical terminology. + Ability to perform and interpret ultrasound studies. + Strong teamwork and communication skills.
