Ultrasound Technician (Per-Diem)

Performs Diagnostic Ultrasound Scans, as ordered by physicians, under the indirect supervision of a Certified Ultrasound Technologist. Performs associated duties to maintain high quality standards in an efficient department. Performs duties in support of the Medical Center mission. This position serves all ages of patients.

 

Education and Training:

Graduate of an accredited Allied health Program

Certified by the ARDMS in Abdomen and OB/Gyn Specialties

Experience:

Must possess adequate scanning experience in Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Small Parts

.

Skills:

Operate computer and patient imaging equipment.

Interpersonal Skills

Perform High Level Disinfection

Organizational Skills

Registration, Licensure and/or Certifications:

CPR.

Must be a registered graduate of an accredited Allied Health program with a minimum of

Two years full-time direct patient contact.   

Certified by the ARDMS in Abdomen and OB/Gyn Specialties
