Western Arizona Regional Medical Center is your community healthcare provider, a 139-bed acute care facility offering the residents of the greater Bullhead City community inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic imaging, Dialysis, medical, surgical and emergency services. As an Ultrasound Tech, job duties range from but are not limited too:

Performs all ultrasound procedures.Using independent judgment, knowledge, and initiative to perform a variety of technical proceduresApply ultrasound for diagnostic, therapeutic and non-peripheral vascular studies in accordance with state regulations, and departmental policies.  Possesses highly technical skills to operate sophisticated equipment for the above-mentioned examinations.   Responsible for on-call procedures when indicatedMust demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.  Ability to remain flexible in a rapidly changing environment and current dynamic health care climate.  May be assigned to take call after hours, as designated and responsible for on-call procedures when indicated.Other duties as assigned

Requirements: 

Current Valid A.R.D.M.S Certification(In lieu of  A.R.D.M.S certification upon hire) Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound school, or completion of a formal Radiologic Technology Program and must obtain A.R.D.M.S Certification within 12 months of hire dateBLS

Preferences:

One (1) year previous experience in Ultrasound. Current Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Current Valid Arizona Registered Technologist (CRT)
