Maintains competency in ultraslound procedures performed on in-patients, outpatients, as well as emergency and operating room patients. Operates all ultrasound diagnostic equipment. Performs routine diagnostic and portable exams when needed. Transports patients, processes film, and prepares radiographic rooms with supplies and medications as needed. Reviews orders and reviews films for correct identification before submitting for a radiologists’ interpretation. Assists with clerical duties as needed. Participates in radiology QI or Quality Improvement program. **KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:** · Must have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which addresses the physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age appropriate needs of the patient population served within the department.
