Ultrasound Technologist

This opening is for per diem only.

 

Performs a variety of sonographic examinations dealing with OB/GYN, abdominal and small parts. Expectations also include assisting the radiologist during invasive procedures.  Makes a clinical judgment of the patient's condition, based on information obtained from the referring physician, medical records, patient interview and personal assessments.

Required Qualifications: 

Coursework/Training - Successful completion of Ultrasound training program --- Education sufficient to meet eligibility requirements to take American Registry of Diagnostic Ultrasonographers (ARDMS) registry examination. National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography within 1 year if hire.  National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.  1 year - Experience as an ultrasound technologist or ultrasound intern.
