Ultrasound Technologist- Full Time
As an **Ultrasound Tech** , job duties range from but are not limited too: + Performs all ultrasound procedures. + Using independent judgment, knowledge, and initiative to perform a variety of technical procedures + Apply ultrasound for diagnostic, therapeutic and non-peripheral vascular studies in accordance with state regulations, and departmental policies. + Possesses highly technical skills to operate sophisticated equipment for the above-mentioned examinations. + Responsible for on-call procedures when indicated + Must demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy. + Ability to remain flexible in a rapidly changing environment and current dynamic health care climate. + May be assigned to take call after hours, as designated and responsible for on-call procedures when indicated. + Other duties as assigned **Requirements:** + Current Valid A.R.D.M.S Certification + (In lieu of A.R.D.M.S certification upon hire) Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound school, or completion of a formal Radiologic Technology Program and must obtain A.R.D.M.S Certification within 12 months of hire date + BLS **Preferences:** + One (1) year previous experience in Ultrasound. + Current Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) + Current Valid Arizona Registered Technologist (CRT) **Benefits Option:** + Competitive Compensation/Benefit Packages + Tuition Assistance/Reimbursement + Medical/Dental/Vision + 401(K) with company match eligibility + Pet Insurance + Hospital Perks/Discounts + Working with a highly supportive and engaged team + And much more… **Who are we:** **Western Arizona Regional Medical Center** is your community healthcare provider.
