Position Overview:    

The Unarmed Security Officer (Guard) includes but is not limited to a variety of security related duties. Responding to a variety of calls/incidents, secures/safeguards specific scenes, perform crowd control as required. Performs personnel, vehicular, and building facility checks; as well as First Aid and CPR as required. Completes all required reports, forms, and other established procedures via electronic security application.

Safely maintains and qualifies with assigned weapons, maintains uniform and grooming standards in accordance with company policies. Operates patrol vehicle in a safe manner, conducts flag protocols, safeguards all assets, provides motorist assistance and escort persons and equipment as needed. Conducts other assignments in accordance with established SOP's. Must be familiar with various Security systems such as: CCTV's, access control, emergency notification systems, and mobile security applications.  

 This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Consideration for a potential contract may require a signed letter of intent. If the contract is awarded, another position posting will be available on the Company Careers portal.

Primary/Major Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Responds to a variety of calls/incidents Enforce regulations designed to prevent security breaches. Respond to alarms, complaints, incidents, violations, and suspicious activities. Demonstrate the ability to take the appropriate action. Secure/safeguard crime scenes and preserve evidence. Perform access/visitor control duties. Perform crowd control as required. Perform personnel, vehicular and building facility checks. First Aid and CPR/AED as required. Complete all required reports, forms, and other documentation per established procedures. Staff post as required and provide access control. Properly vet all employees, trusted partners and daily visitors Control access to restricted areas as required. Report violations. Direct and provide information to visitors. Safeguard all assets. Provide assistance as required. Escort persons and equipment as needed. Conduct foot patrols as required. Monitor unusual situations/conditions through personal or electronic surveillance. Conducts other assignments in accordance with established SOPs. Secure all exterior building doors and windows. Be familiar with "Post Orders" which outline responsibilities such as entrance/exit posts, roving posts, traffic posts, etc. Maintains uniform and grooming standards in accordance with company policies.
