This facility will be Lilly’s most technically advanced manufacturing site and will include next generation manufacturing technologies and advanced data collection and analysis platforms that will deliver improvements in safety and quality, and increased productivity and process performance. **Placement Information** As a company, we are dedicated to providing students with challenging, interesting and relevant work experience. As an intern in the automation department of our new facility, you will: • Gain experience of process automation activities during the start up of the new facility. • Gain experience with automation systems, process control, and validation activities. • Collaborate with experienced engineers to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. • Participate in Process Support Qualification (PSQ) activities, including: • Demonstrating equipment and support system capability. • Conducting process solution mixing and unit operation studies. • Support day to day activities of how the process automation team plan and execute activities to support qualification of equipment and processes to manufacture product This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop technical skills and understand the intricacies of pharmaceutical manufacturing.
