Job DescriptionJoin us for your placement year in summer 2025! Our internships are designed to give you an insight into what it's like to work for a world-renowned brand with a culture of support and community.
Using several different databases and research tools, you will assist the Standards Manager in protecting the Company's products from being placed at a disadvantage in the marketplace by forthcoming changes in legislation or standards. You will gain an awareness of how these changes can impact on the business.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Over a 13 month placement the successful candidate will be involved in:
Researching, processing and recording proposed changes to product related standards and legislation to assist the Standards Manager.Communicating proposed changes in product related standards and legislation to a cross-functional team of experts (both internal and external). Including taking a proactive part in departmental briefing meetings with a range of audiences in the business.Providing feedback on proposed product related standards and legislation changes to external parties such as Trade Associations, Standards Committees and Government Departments.Task ownership of tracking and updating the Early Warning database about proposed changes in product related standards and legislation.Administrative support to the Standards Manager.Development Opportunities of this internship:

This is a 13 month placement to facilitate a detailed induction / handover from the current intern and subsequently deliver the induction training to your successor.
