Underground Drafter  

POWER Engineers is currently seeking a Drafter to work in the Power Delivery Underground Line Department in our Foxborough, MA office.  The successful candidate will support underground transmission line project work and will develop detail drawings and plan & profile drawings to support permitting and construction packages. Prior experience with underground utilities is not required.

 Required Education/Experience: Associate’s degree or equivalent technical education The candidate must have strong, experience in AutoCAD 2010 or newer Willing and able to self-check own work for completeness and accuracy Strong written and oral communications skills

 

Desired Education/Experience: 2+ years' experience with creating alignments, profiles, surfaces, and pipe networks in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2010 or newer Working knowledge of survey coordinate systems Experience interpreting surveys Experience working with scaled drawings Experience with MicroStation Background in Mathematics Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
