Our Macraes underground operations team are on the hunt for an experienced Production Charger. This position involves operating the Charmec charger and charge basket for the purpose of preparing and charging blast holes for stope production and for miscellaneous charging. This role works 7 days on / 7 days off / 7 nights on / 7 days off.
Key roles requirements:
Load charmec and charge basket according to charge plan and ensure stock count is accurateClean charge machines and baskets regularly, keep housekeeping standards highRefuel charge machines regularlyEnsure site is prepared, packed up and cleaned up on start and finish of jobsGive a thorough shift changeover and pass on relevant information to cross shiftBe able to charge up and down holesProvide support to the development charge crew as and when required.Ensure stock-takes are completed as per the Company policies and procedures and are accurateRecord misfire’s as per the Company policies and proceduresSubmit all stope preparation reports at the end of each shift to the Shift SupervisorSubmit all charge reports at the end of each shift to the Shift SupervisorCompetent in the use of Davey electronic systems may be advantageous.QualificationsA minimum of 3 years underground mining experienceMust have proven experience as Service Crew and Development ChargerDemonstrated compliance with Company policies and proceduresCurrent pit permitWater down, scaling Training TicketTruck Training TicketService Crew Training TicketApproved Handlers TicketExplosive Handling, Transport and Storage of Explosives and Detonators TicketPassed out on all relevant Company policies and procedures.Additional InformationWHAT'S ON OFFER:
