Underground Superintendent - 18983
We’re looking for an Underground Superintendent in the Civil Construction industry.

Our client is preparing for staggering growth in the years to come. They are excited to add a true field leader to their team who will grow alongside the company in a thriving field. The Underground Superintendent will be responsible for the planning, organizing, and directing of all field operations.

Underground Superintendent responsibilities: Manage resource allocation to align with the construction timeline and ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule. Regularly update and manage scheduling coordination. Review project documents to understand initial estimates, plans, and specifications. Develop and support your team through training, mentoring, and performance reviews Work with the unit to oversee and direct project tasks to ensure completion. Participate in project closeout meetings to ensure projects are completed successfully. Ensure materials are ordered using appropriate purchase orders or requisitions from suppliers, parts rooms, and warehouses. Collaborate with the Project Manager to facilitate inspections of completed work and secure necessary approvals from the prime, owner, and consultants. Review and authorize daily electronic timesheets submitted by the Foreman. Be a Safety leader and report any incidents or near misses Comply with company policies and guidelines regarding workplace behavior and job performance.

The successful candidate has: 
  5+ years of experience in underground utilities installation Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, schedules, and cost reports. Deep understanding of construction processes and safety standards. Advanced knowledge in the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment Certification in Construction Safety Training System (CSTS) and Completed training in LSE, Prime Contracting, PHISM and First Aid Training in Ground Disturbance. Completed training in LSE, Prime Contracting, and PHISM. Self-driven with the capability to work independently. Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions. Strong commitment to work, demonstrating reliability and dedication. Competence in problem-solving and decision-making. Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team
