How you will create an impact
+ Underwrite all products of Marine risks with underwriting authority delegated
+ Operate within Marine best practices and underwriting rules and guidelines
+ Make right risk selection within adherence to products guidelines, achieving rates, renewal retention and new business goals
+ Manage accurate underwriting files and adhere to all standard and service level agreement for premium processing, policy issuance, etc.
+ Collaborate with various distribution partners, including agency/broker channels, and other profit centers when necessary for cross sell opportunities
+ Collaborate within the team to achieve key KPIs including budget and profit goals
+ Respond to various external/internal reports and statistic works
+ Attend various internal/external events with business partners and develop marketing materials
+ Do other initiatives upon request
What you’ll need to succeed
+ Highly preferred +3 year experience in insurance industries including Shipping Company, Logistics Company and other related with marine area.
+ Communicative, proactive and positive mindset, when dealing with business partners, relevant functions and sales force to achieve business goals and secure profitability
+ Team player with positive attitude, flexibility, problem-solving, innovative thinking and results oriented
+ Ability to work within a team, providing a positive influence to each other, and support colleagues as necessary
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills with high proficiency in English language, MS Office and other analytical tools required
+ Career aspirations to be a professional in commercial insurance
