We are searching for an Aviation Underwriter to form a key part of the Chubb Global Markets (CGM) London Aviation Team.  Working within the Aviation team to generate growth of the Portfolio with key Brokers and Clients, whilst maintaining and developing a portfolio of existing accounts
The successful candidate will currently have either underwriting or broking experience within the Aviation market.   

Key responsibilities:

Underwrite new business or renewals according to defined underwriting guidelines, specified budget and local business plan Represent and promote Chubb corporately to brokers, internal and external clients.   Assist in formulating underwriting strategy, forecasts and portfolio management in order to achieve underwriting profitability.   Represent and promote Chubb and maintain a permanent contact with internal colleagues as well as clients

•    Minimum 3 years aviation underwriting or market experience.
•    Comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of the insurance market.
•    Solid experience of dealing with brokers and clients
•    Results driven with ability to make own decisions and work on own initiative
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•    Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
•    Strong analytical skills.
•    Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Word capabilities.
•    Able to work within a team environment. 
•    Ability to provide quality service to clients and internal business partners.
•    ACII preferred though not essential
