This position involves analyzing risk factors, providing quotes, addressing inquiries, and utilizing underwriting software for data management. You will also supervise a small team of underwriters, oversee approvals, and conduct training. Responsibilities:Assess risk factors such as Motor Vehicle Records, claims history, and business type.Provide quotes and address customer inquiries regarding coverage and pricing.Compare current insurance quotes to emphasize sales opportunities.Utilize underwriting software for data management and documentation.Supervise and train a small team of underwriters.Approve assigned tasks and double-check accuracy in underwriting processes. Qualifications and Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree preferred).3+ years of commercial trucking insurance experience preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, brokers, and colleagues effectively.Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Experience with CAB carrier software preferred Benefits and Perks:Salary: $65,000 – $85,000 annuallyMedical Benefits401(k) with matchLife InsurancePaid Time OffVision & Dental Insurance Your New Organization:This company specializes in providing tailored insurance solutions for the commercial trucking industry, leveraging decades of experience to meet the needs of professional drivers and owners.
