We have an exciting opportunity for a Unified Communications Administrator to join our team of experts and be involved in the rare opportunity to support a new facility and all of United Wholesale Mortgage’s operations. You will ensure the stable operation of our enterprise voice environment using a Plan, Build, Operate model.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Support UWM Team Members by building new hires, moves/adds/changes, application access & trouble ticketsPerform administration of Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection & Cisco Contact Center EnterpriseMonitor Unified Communication system applications to ensure peak performanceHandle 2nd level incident/trouble tickets & escalate to appropriate persons or groups if necessaryAssist in monthly system patching & testing of Unified Communication systemsProvide regular status on tasks accomplished, current issues & progress toward goalsCreates and maintains documentation as it relates to standard operating proceduresMonitor and test voice network performance, and provides performance statistics and reportsCollaborate with other team members across IT and the businessParticipate in rotating on-call coverage or emergency response as needProvide coaching, mentoring, and training to UC Admin 1’s.Primary point of escalation for UC Admin 1’s to assist them with higher level troubleshootingWork with UC Engineers on higher level projects WHAT WE NEED FROM YOURequired
Computer-related degree or equivalent experience3+ years of experience in Information Technology2+ years of experience with Cisco application administrationExperience with Cisco Call Manager and Unity ConnectionStrong working knowledge of TCP, UDP, SIP and VoIPConfiguring, troubleshooting and maintaining networking systemsCommunicate technical issues and solutions in a clear, simple and understandable wayStrong Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience working in ticketing systems (ServiceNow)Onsite, full-time attendanceExperience with Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity Connection & Cisco Contact Center EnterpriseAbility to work 100% on-site in Pontiac, Michigan
