Our work depends on a Top Secret Cleared, Unified Communications Engineer joining our team to provide state-of-the-art Information Technology (IT) engineering and management leadership to enable the Federal Bureau of Investigation ( FBI ) to increase mission success and enhance mission capabilities in the critical areas of national security, law enforcement, intelligence, counterintelligence, and counterterrorism. **HOW A UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:** + Manages and troubleshoots Avaya and MSTP (Managed Secure Telephony Platform) systems. + Oversees all engineering activities related to MSTP configuration and ensuring proper endpoint connectivity. + Resolving technical issues within systems, troubleshooting performance problems, and ensuring operations efficiently. + Ensures that Avaya and MSTP solutions are configured and optimized to meet business needs. + Maintaining and supporting EVoIP (Enterprise Voice over IP) systems, ensuring they are functioning at peak performance. + Provides essential back-end engineering support for troubleshooting MSTP and resolving T4 tickets related to telephony issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions. + Provides business process modeling and reengineering support + Provides secure reach-back supports + Ensures that technical strategies align with business needs **WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:** **EDUCATION:** Bachelor of Science in engineering, computer science, or other equivalent technical discipline (may substitute with commensurate work experience). **REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:** 5+ years of related experience **REQUIRED TECHINICAL SKILLS:** Experience in Avaya, Managed Secure Telephony Platform (MSTP), Cisco, Microsoft TAC, Power Bi, SAFe **CLEARANCE:** Top Secret **LOCATION:** Washington, DC **GDIT IS YOUR PLACE:** + 401K with company match + Comprehensive health and wellness packages + Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
